I'm having time management issues and I don't know how to fix them.  It feels like I am pretty much constantly working and yet very little seems to get done. It's very frustrating.

Day 24 of the 30 Day Drawing Challenge offered "A Couple" as its prompt, so I drew Mulder and Scully and then abandoned the challenge completely.  I hurried to finish an illustration meant to be a birthday gift, but I ended up being too sick to go to that party, so even though it's now finished, I can't show it to you guys yet.  Then I finished Lithodora, which tested the limits of my patience concerning water color painting.  I ended up switching to colored pencil to finish it.  Now, I'm working on a very large commission piece and having dread and despair about art, money, and my ability to make either.

I apologize for all the negativity in this post, but it's an honest snapshot of my current mood regarding the thing this blog is about.

Here are some positives, just to balance it out:

1. The commission is going really well.

2. It's springtime and there are flowers everywhere!

3. I went to the Tom Tom Founders Festival in Charlottesville last weekend and saw art and people and a lot of really cute dogs.

4. Cats.
