I haven't updated since May and I'm only kind of sorry about it. I'm still making stuff and drawing, but the pace of production has slowed significantly.
I've been trying to keep up with life while also struggling with the loss of one of my all time favorite people - my father. I'm going to divide this post in half, because there's actually a lot of stuff. I was kind of surprised, what with the insanity of the last six months. |

In another act of compulsive delusion, I decided I wanted to purge my scrap yarn in its entirety. Between March and September, I crocheted 360 sunburst granny squares and joined them into four afghans. Guess what some of you are getting for Christmas?
Over the summer, I got to have two different crafting days with my sister. One was for my dad's memorial, so I wouldn't necessarily say it was fun, but I'm glad we got to spend that time together. We made collages and paintings and went through photos. It was an important day.

The second crafting day was for my baby niece's first birthday! I made this felt photo booth frame, which was poor planning on my part because there was no way to hang it and people had to awkwardly hold it while having their picture taken.

Stay tuned for the second part of this post, which will be the illustrations I did over the summer. It feels like I don't have time to breathe, but somehow I'm keeping up with being a person and still making a lot of stuff.
