In July 2016,
Art Whino returned to Richmond for its final round of
The Richmond Mural Project, realizing their goal of 100 murals and helping to establish Richmond as a major art destination for tourists.
As has become a
personal tradition, I trekked to Richmond to photograph the new murals. I made my route based on
the event info, which ended up being different than the actual mural locations, so I missed two
Jason Woodside murals (at 807 Oliver Hill Way and 3436 Ellwood Ave) and spent a lot of time at several locations without any murals at all.

How cool is this Taylor White Mural that stretches across five different walls?! I had a hard time photographing all of it.
A gorgeous mural by
Handiedan in Shockoe Bottom was created using materials that didn't tolerate the 100+ degree heat over the summer. I also missed a third
Jacob Eveland piece (at 521 N. Adams St.) that was totally my bad.
