I recently cleaned out my workspace, getting rid of a bunch of stuff and reorganizing everything. I also tackled my project list with an unprecedented focus and determination.
Some projects had been on the list so long, I didn't want to do them anymore, and it was refreshing to cross them off and never think about them again. The last few projects were sewing ones, which are the kind I tend to put off the most. I think maybe I hate sewing. Finally making this bag for my sewing machine was the very last item on my list and I happily put the machine inside of it when I was done.
Ugh. This sweater. It's so bad. This is the second time I've attempted this, my second sweater, and it's a lumpy, ill-fitting mess. After ten plus years of knitting I'm facing the revelation that I'm not good at it. No amount of practice seems to budge my skill level and I'm okay with it. I'm good at plenty of other stuff.
